Multi platform C programs

• Clac is a programmer's function calculator 'engine' with GUI and CLI user interfaces. Includes expression editing, history, variables, single / multiple argument functions. Sources can be compiled with any ANSI C. (updated 2nd October 1995)

• Grafix is a collection of C functions intended to ease up on doing simple single-window 'ex tempore' programs needing graphics. It masks the use of system graphics routines under simple 'BASIC' like commands. All functions are monochrome ones. Currently there are versions for
  • Atari / GEM and
  • X11.
  The library has a couple of simple examples and I have even done a game for it. Sources only. (last fixes 15th February 1996, v1.0-) 10-20K

  GEM version has now the background window output too. For this to work, you'll need NVDI 2.51 (bindings programmed only for SozobonX C xgemfast library) or later for off-screen bitmaps (or alternatively you can try the freeware Enhancer TSR). For simple image output this isn't necessary though.

  Note: W library is almost as easy to program as Grafix and more complete / better designed. So now I'm joining grafix lib X version with Wlib to get Wlib emulation over Xlib. After project completes, one can use Kay Römer's W toolkit when programming anything major. (1st October 1996)

• XIMG was my first attempt at X programming. It will show 1-8 bitplane IMG and PBM images and can save the shown image as a monochrome PBM. Color images are dithered to monochrome before showing. Source has targets both for X11 and Atari TOS (works on all standard (interleaved) Atari resolutions and doesn't need GEM!). I use program mainly for viewing GnuPlot output. 20K
